Painted Pony Farm

We took the girls to the "Painted Pony Farm" this past Friday. It was really neat and Reagan had so much fun. Lily just loves to be outside relaxing. The farm had bunnies for the kids to look at, pony rides, a bounce house, a tractor "train" ride, and tons of space to run and play. Reagan saw the ponies and kept asking to ride them. We really thought she would chicken out but she didn't. She was so excited to be riding a pony. She didn't want the ride to stop. She loved that horse and said "thank you" and "bye-bye" to him. So cute! We had a blast there. We'll definately go again next year!

My silly girl

Me and my big girl!

I swear she is part Chrissy. Some of the faces she makes at me are totally Chrissy.

I forgot to bring her blankie to church last week but luckily she didn't freak out. She was super excited to find it when we got home!

Random pictures from October

We love to watch our friend's little boy. He is just so sweet and has the best personality. Reagan absolutely adores him!
It was a crazy evening...this is all I could get her to eat. She was happy!

So, Scott constantly puts random things on his own head. When Reagan came along, he started doing it to her. And now, poor Lily is forced to wear things on her head too. She looks miserable doesn't she?! Ha. This chubby little girl LOVES her Papa, even if he puts pants on her head.

Reagan had to memorize and recite four scripture verses for Awanas. (She's the youngest kid in her class!) She did her fourth one last week and was awarded with her vest! We are SOOO proud of her!

Reagan got her facepainted for the first time and LOVED it! She kept looking in the mirror at her "kitty cat face" and moving her "kitty eyebrows". She cute!

Zoo Trip 2010

The morning after Lily and I got back from California, Scott and I took the girls to the Dallas Zoo. We took Rea for the first time last year and she loved it. So, we decided to do it again. We had a blast. BUT, it was crazy humid that day so we were drenched within minutes. No kidding. There is a "Children's Zoo" there and Rea really likes it there. Lots of stuff to play on, animals that are her size, and water to splash in. She was a happy girl. Lily just kicked back in the stroller and took a nap. I think she enjoyed it though. She likes to be outside and just look around.

Making fish faces!

The merry-go-round! Its one of Rea's new favorite things and we rode it FOUR times! I was a little dizzy by the end.

Movie Night

While Lily and I were in California last month, Scott and Rea spent some quality "Papa - Rea" time. Reagan really loved it and they seemed to have so much fun together. One night, Scott had a movie night for her. They put down a soft, comfy blanket on the living room floor, threw down a bunch of pillows, and made popcorn. Reagan was THRILLED!!! She is a popcorn hog now.

Lily at 4 & 5 months old

So, I'm a little behind. The girls keep me running, what can I say.

Lily was four months old on September 22nd. At her four month appointment, she was:

Weight: 18lbs 8oz 99%

Height: 24.5 inches 60%

Head: 17.5 inches 100%

Her head is so big, the nurse thought she had measured incorrectly and re-measured just to be sure. Nope, Lily's head is just huge!

Here is a pic of her at 4 months...

Just a few days ago, I took Lily in to weigh her just out of my own curiosity.

Weight: 20lbs 100%

Height: 25inches 50%

I think she is just perfect. She's developing exactly as she should. She laughs, squeals, and babbles. She loves when Reagan goes in to find her in the morning and they just talk and laugh at eachother. She sits pretty well on her own, jumps like crazy in her jumperoo, and is starting to "roll" around.

Here is a picture at 5 months. Notice she is wearing her Giants outfit! That's what she wore to church this last sunday. I don't think all the Texans thought it was very funny. HaHaHa.

Liliana @ two months

Lily was 2 months old on the 22nd. We can't believe how quickly the last two months have gone by! She had her check up and it went great. Her belly button is totally normal now. Yay! She is growing like crazy! She coos and babbles a lot. She smiles, especially at Reagan. And she is starting to make laughing sounds. Lily is a great little sleeper. She still spends most of her days sleeping but its more routine now. She takes naps and does great at night. Normally in bed around 9pm then she'll get up between 3am-4am to eat. Then she goes back to sleep till 8:30am or 9am. She slept through the night once about a week ago. So, here are her stats:

Weight: 13lbs 14oz 85%

Height: 23 inches 75%

Head: 16 inches 90%

She's a big girl and we LOVE it! She's super cuddly and squishy! We can't wait for our families to finally meet her!

Liliana - 2 weeks old!

Liliana had her 2 week old check up today. We can't believe how much she has grown already! She has gained nearly 2 pounds and is 1 1/4 inches longer since she was born. She now weighs 9lbs 3oz (we thought she felt heavier!) and is 20 3/4 inches long. Its amazing how quickly she is changing!

Reagan meets her baby sister...

Ready to go home!

As soon as we walked in the door, Reagan said "papa, what you got?" She was very interested in baby Lily but she kept her distance for a little bit. It didn't last long. Now she loves to kiss and hold her sister. She asks for "Baby Lily" as soon as she wakes up each morning. So sweet!

Updates

We've had a lot going on here lately. Here's what's been happening:

Scott received a medal last wednesday for exceptional service while he was in Iraq...I know, it took a LONG time for him to actually have the award in his hands. We are so very proud of him!

Reagan turned 2 yesterday (and it was Easter)! She had her 2 yr old checkup this morning and it went great. Doc says she is very smart and she is growing perfectly. She weighs 26lbs 7oz and is 34 3/4 inches tall. Its hard to believe that she has gained almost 19 1/2 lbs and grown 15 inches since she was born. Our little girl is getting so big! She amazes us daily. She learns the lyrics to songs very quickly, speaks in full sentences a lot of the time, knows all her colors, counts to 15, knows her ABC's, has learned a handful of words in spanish, and knows basic shapes: circle, square, triangle, star, heart.

As of yesterday, I am 33 weeks pregnant! I'm thankful to be this far along considering all the scary premature labor stuff we had going on when I was just 23 weeks along. Lily is VERY active but I enjoy it...most of the time. At my last appointment, doc said she is growing right on track and that everything was as it should be.

Scott leaves next week to go have eye surgery! Lucky dog! While he is gone, Chrissy and Patrick will be here with me and Reagan. We are sure looking forward to them being here!

Easter! (and Rea's 2nd birthday)

Church Easter Egg hunt

We've been celebrating Easter for a week! We're trying to teach Reagan about what Easter really means, but its challenging at this age. She knows there are pretty eggs to play with and she will say "He is Risen". That's about the extent of her Easter knowledge. Not too bad for 2 I guess.
